Increasing screen refresh rate of games.

I've been playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 for a while. After playing for hours and you build the park up very big the game begins slowing down and the screen refresh rate decreases.

Is there a way to give more power to the game so it doesn't begin to run slower?

The only way to do that is to get a new mac with a better graphics card, or buy a PC that has a proper graphics card.

No, that's a way to slow it down. Hard drives are usually the slowest point in a system.

Your processors more than powerful enough, you've got a bottleneck in the gfx card.
