Hi there everyone ...
I can't imagine i am the only one with this bug...
TimeMachine does exclude my UserAcc automatically
When I open up the Time Machine options i get the tilde followed by a little house icon which represents my home account and the option box in TimeMachines Prefs does (just for fun?) exclude it from my backup.
Then i remove it by hand by selecting it and then closing the option window.
When running a time machine one can clearly see that the backup is 91 GB bigger (my HomeAccount Folder Size) meaning Mavericks understood that *i do* want a home folder backup (that´s what backups are for, right?) but when the initial backup is done, the entire home folder *is missing*...!!!
everything else is backed up nicely (including my wives user account)
thats one incredible *big* bug...
anyone encounter this as well?/have a workaround/solution for this
please?
thx, Stef
ps.
am running 13E28 OS X Mavericks 10.9.4
on an Early 2011 MBP 17" with 2 internal drives (SSD/HDD)
and am backing up via TB to an external LaCie d2 3TB TB Drive
(have not upgraded itunes but stuck with the much better itunes 10.7
(v21) which causes AppStore not being able to install/upgrade apps
directly)
