I've got Mac os X and whenever I start it, it will run incredibly slow. It'll take about 10 minutes to go to the log on screen. Then I'll click the field where to type my password and itll freeze up for a good 3-5 minutes. Then I'll type my password in and have to wait another 5-10 minutes for the entire thing to actually load. Next It'll show the desktop screen but I can't do anything on it for a good 10 or 20 minutes. This all just started randomly one day after I reset my mac. The lag will slow down a good bit after about an hour or so of waiting, but I don't want to wait an hour just to use my laptop. Can anyone help me out?

-Computer Model?

-Processor Speed?

-Amount of Ram (Memory)?

-OS X Version?

Supply more information to get a better chance of solving this problem.

Seriously, what did you actually do when you "reset" your Mac? Ya gotta use the real lingo or actually describe the steps. Made-up terms mean different things to different people, and I have no idea what that means to you.
