independent contractor

I have just made my jump to independence and become an independent contractor recently ...

I wanted to know 1. if there are others who are in the same boat here on macrumors ... and 2. what tools (mac related) do you use during your IC days ...

I am thinking of getting the new 20 inch 2.4 iMac and use it primarily for work.

Congratulations mate! Independent contractor is a pretty broad term so you might get more worthwhile responses if you tell us more specifically what you're after.

well I am on a pm (project management) contract ... and just started a pm consultancy ... Since I want to use a mac in my office ... I wanted to know what other project manager's and similar (on macrumors) are using to help them in their daily routine (in a mac environment) ...
