Whenever I see reviews of new Apple hardware, it's easy to find comparison benchmarks for CPU, GPU, and sometimes software including Photoshop, games, or 3D software.

Since I spend most of my time in InDesign, it's hard to know what kind of performance gain to expect. So I tested my two machines just to satisfy my own curiosity, by timing the only tasks for which I have to "wait" for the machine. Hopefully this will be helpful to a few people!
