Hello;

Two users using Macs on our network are having issues with placing images on an InDesign CS3 document from a shared drive. The image is ON the shared drive, but InDesign will not "see" it to place it.

Any ideas?

Thank you

I do IT / maintenance for a small design firm locally on their macs. THey use a shared / file server drive to hold all of their Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign files. They haven't yet seen the issue you are seeing, but I will warn you that they've all experience file corruption from accessing and working on the InDesign files remotely off the share drive.

Apparently copying the file to your local machine, working on it, then copying the new file back and replacing the old one avoids this corruption.

Best,
