Indesign CS3, will not upgroup

Hello;

I am using a new Mac G5, osX 10.5.3 and InDesign CS3.

When I group something, InDesign will not allow me to ungroup it.

To Group I select items, then command G. To ungroup, I select the group, the shift command G, I will also go through the tools to do this, and it won't work.

Any ideas?
