Does anyone know how to remove the pink highlighted box around the text?

Thanks

I have no idea about Indesign, but this is usually a field fill colour problem.

And if you kill it you will have to change the field text colour too, or you won't see it.

:p

The reason that happens is that you don't have the font loaded. Close the doc and open it again, you should get a dialogue box that tells you you're missing a font. Load the font, and it will go away.

Ah, an error message, for the illiterate.

WTH doesn't it just substitute "LOAD FONT" for the text in the field??

When you open the document Indesign will normally tell you if there are any fonts missing and give you an option to change the font that is used.

error

also please note both the font and its weight are shown in rectangular brackets in the toolbar [Minion Pro] + [Regular], which means the font is missing.

What others have said if correct. If you really want to see where the errors are Preflight the document and it will tell you what is missing or otherwise non-standard. Note that the text for the name is above the top margin and the bounding box for the second line extends out of it as well.
