Hi,
This may already have been answered recently, but I am just checking again to see if there is a better way.
Basically, I am looking for a way to control the output volume on a per-application basis. As similar function as Windows offers from the taskbar volume icon.
As I said, this may have been answered in this thread. But I want to make sure there is no cheaper or even free way of accomplishing the same task before dropping $49.00 on an application that I am really only going to use one small feature on (the app wasn't even created for this purpose AFAIK).
Just to be clear, an example situation: I am currently streaming the WWDC conference in Safari while chatting on Skype with friends. There didn't appear to be a way for me to change the volume of either of the audio sources (I may have been missing something). I want(ed) to be able to lower the volume of my Skype calls so I could hear the WWDC stream better.
Any advice welcomed. I hope this thread doesn't turn into a bitch-fest as the thread I have linked in turned into
