Trying to go Adobe free as much as possible. Their stuff is just way too expensive for how little I use it Pixelmator fits the bill as a Photoshop replacement. Any recommendations for a vector-based drawing app?

The app must be able to import and export to EPS format.

I've looked into VectorDesigner. Horrible reviews. Exports to EPS, but won't import.

I've also looked at ArtBoard. This has somewhat better reviews, but doesn't appear to be able to work with EPS files at all.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I don't use it, but I've always heard that Inkscape is really good, and well liked by the Illustrator convert community.

And it's free. Don't know about EPS and such.

iDraw is pretty good and has an iPad app as well. Not sure about EPS support. http://www.indeeo.com/idraw/
Pixelmator 2 now has basic vector functions.

^ I use those two.

Vectormator.com is owned by the Pixelmator team. So they might be working on a Vector Graphics app soon.
