I'm looking for an inexpensive (couple hundred dollars US) multi drive bay (preferrably 4 or more) that can handle either SATA or IDE, and connects via a single USB or Firewire connection.

I'd appreciate some links, or specific brands and models for any of you who know of some. I checked out DROBO, and 500 bucks is a little much for me at this juncture.

I do however have 10 external drives, 6 of which I can put into something like this.

Thanks,

Brian

I'm using MAP-504F, got it last year for about $150. It has worked flawlessly so far.

The model I have is FW400, and supports four IDE drives. In my case, that is 1TB of storage, accessible from the computer with just one firewire cable.
