I find Apple Music to be massively frustrating on the Mac. The app's design is simply appalling. The worst part is that the issues that bother me were not there at the beginning. Apple, in their massive, unrelenting hubris, took away these features.

I listen to the weekly Apple Music generated playlists a lot. When I open up the "Chill" play list for example, all the song titles appear in a list. NOT the bands or artists that wrote those tunes. Unreal. If I liked a song and wanted to check out the artist, I used to just be able to click on the artist right there. Now I have to go up into the 3 dots in the title menu and navigate to "Show in Apple Music" which takes me to the specific album where the playing song appears. From there I have to click on the artist title. It's just stupid how Apple took away the feature that used to be there.

Also on the Mac the song's remaining time is gone. There used to be a count down clock up at the top that gave you information on how much time was left on a track. Very useful for me. Apple took that away and now you have to do math, subtract the time elapsed so far from the track's total time. Again, all this used to be available but Apple took it away.

I'd love to know the rational for making the app less capable.
