Well looks like the ram on my G5 (see description) is acting up, tried the hot blower thing but do not want to overdo it, any suggestion how to fix it?

Soldering will solve the issue? any pics on how / what to solder?

Thanks

Can you describe what acting up means? What are the symptoms? Why do you think reflowing solder will fix it?

The computer boots and after a long beep black screen and fan at max, the hot blowing air of my hair dryer made it work a couple of times, that plus the famous issue in the ram socket of some g5...makes me thing that resodering the contacts would make it work again.
I am open to suggestions though:D

EDIT: I also tried another video card as i have 2, but no chance.

EDIT 2: as seen on, same issue
