Here is an inflated iPhone battery. Honestly, I have never seen a badly damage iPhone battery before. I suffered from very poor battery life with my iPhone 5, 5S and X. iPhone 11 Pro has been amazing so far.

I did see this happen to an iPad, the battery even bent the aluminum casing.

I have had three iPhone 5's replaced because of swelling batteries. It is the only model I own so far that seems to be affected by this. Currently, I'm waiting until I have enough money to replace another iPhone 5 for the same thing.

It's telling that Apple sends units with swelling batteries to a special facility for disposal of the battery. They do NOT do this in-store.

Once I opened a MacBook that has inflated battery so much that the only things held the bottom cover in place we’re the screws.

I unscrewed one and it shot in my face from the tension, almost blinded me. Early days of my job. o_O:D

It’s not the first swollen battery I’ve encountered but still quite the sight. Thanks for sharing!
