Just wanted a bit of info regarding the free upgrade to mountain lion with the new mac purchase, i have submitted mine and am waiting patiently (if only)
So i wondered when i get this code can it be redeemed on a mac computer that i dont own, this is because i am tempted to buy the os and give my free code to my dad who has a imac.
My only concern was that he has a different apple id and would it work on his.
I believe his imac is compatible as its a 2009 iMac so it should work (i will check the apple website)
