Hi,

before messing up I would like to understand a simple thing. I have my iTunes folder with all my audio tracks, playlists, podcasts, videos, etc.

Now with Catalina installed formatting, and in particular the Music app, what happens, I copy from my backup in the Music folder the iTunes folder and what happens, as soon as I open the Music app it automatically takes all the filese and copies them to the new Music app/Folder?

I honestly didn't understand the import technically as it happens.
