Just got a new iPhone as my old one did not update due to error 9. I asked lots of questions whilst I was there. SO.....


The new batch is NOT different to the original. Proximity sensor is exactly the same!

Isn't this all information that was widely available on the internet? And for the last time, Apple retail isn't privy to any inside information. They know as much as we do.
 
Thanks for the information. Do you think your phone is new or a refurbished unit?

Mmmmm I'm not sure, he got it from a little black rubber box under the bar. Atleast it works with no random colours on screen, sensors all work, and camera isn't a funny tint...good times!
