Info from Verizon regarding preorder time

I sent Verizon an email asking about when preorders would begin on their website Friday as the information on their website is nonexistent. They called me and said it would be Friday but that they couldn't give out a specific time because they did not want to fail to meet expectations. Basically they don't have an official time and didn't want a tentative one being taken as concrete. She worded it in an odd manner though. Anyway, kind of weird that they don't have time set with just over a day til Friday I thought.
 
Should be 3:01 AM Eastern just like everyone else. You can sign up for an e-mail on their site and it will tell you when. If you can't get from Verizon's site that early then I'll just use Apple's.
 
I was also sent an email from Verizon in addition to the call. It said the exact same thing. They cannot tell me a time as it might cause expectations that they cannot meet.
