Info request on iFM and iPod Mini

I've been looking for a way to do voice recording on my iPod Mini (4GB). So far all the mics I've found for the iPod are not compatable with the Mini. I was checking out the specs on the iFM. It looks like a cool device and has what I'm looking for, a voice recorder. According to Griffin it is compatable with the iPod Mini, but I'm not sure if the voice recording features also work with the Mini. Is there anyone out there that has the iFM and could give me some info? Or anyone out there with an iPod Mini that know how to use it as a voice recorder? Or if there are mics for the Mini.
