iOS Information Regarding to width & height of specific font size..

Hello
i wanna some informations regarding to font size ...
as my sir told me ...findout the width & height of 10 font size character..
he also told me font size is daigonal length of rectangle ...so can i find out width & height of any font size of character...there is any formula to find out to its..
Plz give me solution as soon as ....
