I use iTunes to organise my movies and TV shows (stored on my NAS), but I've been looking into using InFuse on my ATV so I don't have to have my laptop open whenever I want to watch something.

Seems to work well with movies, but it doesn't like the way that iTunes names TV shows - to the point that it can't deal with them at all.

Has anyone found a way to get around this? (other than doing the library management manually.... I'd rather just open up my laptop and use home sharing)

In theory you could add nfo or xml files with the episode metadata for Infuse to pick up. But in my experience it is easier to organize the files on the NAS yourself (which can be largely automated by using a tool such as Filebot), so they conform to the Kodi/Infuse naming conventions. You can add them to the iTunes library too after turning off the options "Keep media folder organized" and "copy files to media folder when adding to library" in iTunes. That way you can access them with both iTunes Homesharing and Infuse or MrMC.
