I am pretty sure this is new with Yosemite...

Has anyone noticed that in Contacts, Messages, and Mail that the grey circular bubbles that show a contact's initials are now displaying in last initial/first initial order? (Yes, I know if you have a photo attached to a contact record that the photo displays.)

I do have my preferences in Contacts set to "Show First Name Following Last Name". I have not changed that from the past, as I much prefer my address book showing last name first.

But I am pretty sure that in the past the initials still showed in first initial/last initial order.

I know this is not overly important, but in Messages in particular, seeing a list of chats with the bubble in "reverse order" is somewhat confusing (think of a list of family members, all with pretty unrecognizable abbreviations).
