Hi,

I picked up my new Macbook last night and ran an initial update. Everything went fine up until the reboot. After installing 3 of the 8 updates my Macbook suddenly crashed and restarted again.

Is this bad? I know when stuff like this happens to Windows machines it could afftect the boot time etc, is there anyway I can verify that I didn't do any harm to my sweet sweet Macbook?

Thanks

Did it restart? or go to a black screen with a lot of gibberish?

Some updates will make the computer restart twice.

Call apple or take it to a apple store.

Screen said installing "Installing 3 of 8" then went black, restarted. Didn't see any gibberish though.
