Initially Bummed on Lion.....

I converted from SL to the Lion because I was told that if I wanted to be in the cloud and store all my photos, docs, and music this was the way.
Did it two weeks ago.....I loved my SN with Office Mac 2004. Of course I didn't read the fine print and Entourage and all files were wiped out..They are not compatible. I am on a 30 day trial with MS for Mac-Office 2011. Pretty snazzy.
Apple support said they are on my computer somewhere but of course told me to call Entourage at MS...Yeh right......
Anyway I am slowly getting used to using MAIL, Address book, ...The challenge today was that I was saving some e-mails and documents..
File>save as>documents> create new folder....Choose/save etc. Well it didn't create the new folder in Documents or save...
What am I missing"oh lord buy me a Snow Leopard or a Mercedes Benz"???
