I initiated an Apple Watch trade-in towards a gift card shortly before the values were updated last week. I haven't sent it in yet, but if I do, will I get the original estimated value ($85) or the new value ($75)? FWIW, when I check the status of the trade-in, they still show the original estimate.

It's a Series 7 and I have considered putting it on FB marketplace, but I don't know if it'll sell. There are quite a few already listed in my area.

Trading in just seems easier, but I've also read horror stories of them receiving the watch damaged. Is that a common occurrence? Am I better off putting it on FB marketplace?

You have it in writing, so what are you worried about? They will honor what they said.
