Ink Pref Pane

I bought the Pogo Sketch stylus to use with my new MBP and the awesome trackpad. I bought it to draw diagrams for classes, but it'd be cool if I could also use it with Ink. The problem is the Ink prefpane doesn't show up unless a tablet is connected. Anyone know how to get around that?
