Hi everyone. Quick question for anyone who may be know about this . . . (and i apologize in advance, I'm new to this website)

Anyhow, I will be purchasing CS3 Design Standard in about a month, but I need to do some vector work in the meantime (t-shirt art for some local stores) and I need a FREE vector program, if a good one exists. I got my hands on Inkscape, as that one looked pretty good, but upon trying to start in, I was told I needed to install X11 so that Inkscape could run. So . . . Does anybody run X11? Has it caused any problems to your system? Where do I get the latest version? and does anyone use Inkscape and is it crappy or not? thanks in advance.

Google is your friend.

X11 is on your OS X install disc - install from there. Pretty simple. Inkscape may need reinstalling after you've installed X11.

thanks for the info. I'll install from the disc. I did google it, i guess I just wanted some reassurance from somebody else. thanks
