Hello,

I've just recently bought myself a gorgeous 24" imac (first mac) and for my birthday someone bought me a wacom intuos (6x11) to go along with it. I'm loving it as far as photoshop and illustrator are concerned -- but the handwriting recognition capabilities of inkwell are pretty bad.

Now, as a writer who needs to physically write something out on paper before typing it out, I thought it would be pretty cool to use inkwell but I'm curious if it's possible to turn the "recognition" part of inkwell off so that I can simply scrawl away without the programme automatically converting my handwriting into abysmally wrong text?

Is this possible? I would assume it would be, but I've had no luck figuring out how.

If it's not possible, is there any software add-on or whatever out on the market that works better than inkwell?

Thank you for any help!
