I used the tethered jailbreak for my iPad because I missed the little things jailbreak can do. Such as using iNoRotate. I really missed being able to use my iPad to read in bed without it turning back and forth constantly.

Anyway I installed it and it's not showing up under my settings. I'm guessing it's because of ios5? I was so hoping it would work. I guess a lot of cydia apps won't work now.

With iOS 5 there is no need for iNoRotate in my opinion, you can configure the switch to lock the screen..... :)

I'm not exactly sure what you mean...

OMG! I found it! I had no idea that you can set it to not rotate. Thanks!

Glad you found it....

When I got my iPad this was the original use for the switch. There was quite an uproar when it was switched to a mute switch. (by the way be sure to switch it off {unmute the sound} before switching it to screen lock mode, or you will have issues with your sound. )

It is in settings | general | "use slide switch to" if anyone else wants to know....
It's been there for a while to, (it's in the last few versions of iOS 4.3)
