Input password while connected to VPN...

I input my Apple ID password by mistake while connected to a VPN. As far as I know the VPN is safe to use and the Apple ID password is encrypted when sent to Apple. The following page loaded in an all .html format without any style/formatting. As soon as I turned off the VPN, the page’s formatting went back to normal.
Is everything fine regarding my password? Thanks

Well if you have any doubt, change it.

More than likely you are fine.

However changing your password is a mild inconvenience for an otherwise nightmare.
