I need to get projects worked on and made in imovie on one computer and put onto a cd to be loaded on another that has final cut pro and take these projects and build them into a DVDstudio pro 3 finished DVD.

My problem for doing this is that I can't capture finished (with a DVD spliter) video on a DVD into Studio pro3 to include these videos in DVD projects I am making on DVD Studio pro3.

Final cut can compress the audio and video files and they are .aiff and .m2v files which are separate, but from what I understand imovie makes them one solid file (which I don't know the name or type of file). How can you get that to work in DVD Studio pro3?

Please make your suggestions simple because I'm not that video savey.
Thanks for any help.

In iMovie export the finished sequence using the Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) or DV codec, then get that file onto the Mac with DVD Studio Pro, open Compressor, drag that file there, apply one of the settings in the list at the bottom, let the conversion begin and end.

Then use the resulting files in DVD Studio Pro.

Be sure to read the manual on the appropriate chapters.
