I just brought my first game for Mac (Age of Empires 3) but I'm having a few problems. The first is that there is no water or shadows....Instead I either see jet black where water/shadows should be, or I just see the riverbed/sea floor.
The second problem is that it's REALLY juddery, even on lowest graphical settings. Charcaters move really slowly, and the framerate just dies. If you look at my sig, my iMac is plenty powerful enough even to play this at good settings, yet I can't get anything playable out of it at all.
The game is version 1, and it's Universal Binary. I've got plenty of free HDD space and I have all the lastest software/formware updates.
