insert a picture into Numbers

I've created a Numbers spreadsheet for my baseball card collection. On the spreadsheet I created a text box where I insert a scanned image of a baseball card.
Is there a way I can "lock" the dimensions of the text box so that whenever I change the image, the dimensions don't need to be reset?
Can I drag a scanned image (pdf or jpeg) over the spreadsheet and it will automatically populate the text box?
