"insert app here" VPN ,HELP !!

hi,all.
My VPN drops constantly and I'm left with my downloads or private session unencrypted

Is there any app, apples

cript, or other that can tell "insert app here" quit/stop when the VPN interrupts?

And possibly to reconnect and resume previous activity would be a cherry on top...
