As per title. I've set System Preferences --> CD's & DVD's to 'Ignore' whenever a video DVD is inserted, but it appears to not work, and DVD player is always opening anyway. I've also turned it back off, quit System Preferences, and set it back, without any changes. Happens both on the internal drive of my 2011 iMac, but also using an external Blu-ray drive.

Assuming it is working correctly for everyone else on El Capitan, is there a preference .plist I can trash, to see if it is somehow not setting the System Preference check correctly?

Running 10.11.6.

For what it's worth, I just tested it and it's working correctly (10.11.6). It is indeed just you; I can't suggest anything but at least this proves that it must be possible to fix :)
