I remember reading early reports that programs such as InsomniaX and Caffeine did not work on the new 2011 MBP's - does anyone know if a workaround had been found or if someone has figured out a way to prevent these machines from sleeping? I hate leaving my MacBook open, but I use Plex to watch all my Mac's videos from the iPad, so I can't really close it down at night without it sleeping and killing Plex.

Another way to do this is to go into system preferences, then go into "Energy Saver" and set the "computer sleep" and "display sleep" sliders to never.

FYI, Caffeine only prevents the screen from going off, it doesn't prevent MBPs from going to sleep; for what it does, it works just fine. InsomniaT should work for you. Also, you may wanna check out this thread.
