I'm getting a little irritated with the built in spell checker as of late, the bloody thing seems to never learn. Anyone out there that uses it and can testify to it's usefulness and performance?

I am using an I4 on 4.01 and it works perfectly no slowdown at all. It allows you to add words to the apple dictionary so the red underline does not show. Also you can add custom auto corrections for example: everytime I type "Lol" it will correct to "lol" or "pol" to "ppl" etc etc

No. w Inspell v1.3 spell check stops working completely when iOS runs low on memory.
iP4 4.1

When do you run low on memory with an I4? I almost never have less than 100 mb available but I guess I don't run tons of programs at once...

Alright, thanks everyone for sharing. I'll get it, and that's true my memory rarely gets below or near 100mb heh. For the price it's worth ending the frustration >_<.

it doesnt take much, inspell seems to stop working once you get below 200meg aval.. usually in the neighborhood of 150

you'll be texting, and your spell check will stop working. you typically wont notice until you send some glaringly obvious typo that wasnt caught
