Instagram and Viber for 1st gen iPhone?

Hey everyone i have a 1st gen At&t locked iPhone, i am planning to use wifi and viber so is it possible to download viber and instagram on this iphone? Its running version 3.1.3 (7E18) and Firmware: 04.05.04_G. Do i need to jailbreak in order to get these apps?

It all depends on whether the apps can currently be downloaded on iOS3. I would doubt it. My friend has my old iPhone 4 which was running version 5.1.1 and she had to update before she could download Facebook. The problem is that there is not an official update for the original iPhone.

You'll need to jailbreak it, install AppSync and then find old versions of the apps you want.
