So let me tell you how instagram is screwing with your privacy. They just released V.3 of the app and they're includding a feature that reads and displays geotags. This is fine and great only that EVERYONE can see your photos on a map REGARDLESS if your account is set to private or not. Now you can choose the pictures you want to be shown on the map or you can just not add any pictures to your map and your good...or are you. Let's say your having a few friends over for dinner and drinks. The popular, social network addict in the room starts snapping pictures. They upload them to instagram and now your home location is on a map for everyone to see includding that stalker you just managed to shake or the thieves who really like the flat screen in the background. Your privacy is now blown wide open, not because you didnt turn your privacy settings on, but because instagram made it possible for other people to broadcast your exact location at any time.
