Instagram says it now has the right to sell your photos

Anyone else seen this and found this extremely annoying? FB sure is beginning to throw its weight around. Thuoght i'd share it for heavy i'gram users (like myself).

Both HuffPo and Lifehacker are running articles who find the updated ToS unacceptable find happier alternatives. For Instagram addicts, there's plenty of good alternatives.

interesting. the situation seems to have taken a u-turn. so for those that use instagram, if you go to the news section you will see a link saying "Update: Thank you, and we're listening". It then goes on to explain that the whole 'sell your photo's' thing was a misunderstanding and there will be nothing like that going on and "your photos are your photos. Period".
i'll see if i can find a link for u guys (those interested).

instagram has always had the right to do that.

its just specifying the language. Actually they are making it slightly harder for them to do that, while specifically saying they will, probably because they plan to. How do you think they have handled your pictures for that long without that right?

This is why that app has always been crap imho
