instagram stories icons look bigger

i use iphone se 2020 and suddenly my friends' stories icons on instagram look bigger.
i tried to unistall and install again the app and turn off the phone.
anyone got an idea what happened?

Looks like this happened again. They seem to do this quite often and they compile the app wrong or something? The story icons and overall look is way too big on the iPhone XR/11. It looks ridiculous.
