Instagram Video Sound Issues with Bluetooth

I currently have some powerbeats2 wireless ear buds connected to my iPhone 6s running iOS 9.0.2. When I am listening to music, the sound is coming through the ear buds normally. However, when I play a video from Instagram the sound is only playing from the speakers of the phone and not the connected bluetooth headphones.

Anyone have this issue?

rebooted the phone and it fixed the issue
