Does anyone know if it's possible to get your hands on a DVD-R drive that can be installed in a 12" PowerBook (which only came with the combo drive), and how much it would cost? (I'm aware of possible warranty issues...)

Thanks! That answers my question. I think that I might choose to get the external FireWire DVD-R drive instead, if I go that route before I get a new PB G5 (or G6). It all depends on how long I feel that I can stay away from burning DVDs...
