You can, but depending on the game you might be better off running it in Bootcamp. It all depends on how demanding the game is. Running Windows in a VM takes a performance hit. Some older games will perform fine. Some newer games that rely heavily on graphics may run poorly or not at all.

So to answer your question more directly, yes, you can run SOME PC games, not all of them. :D

Pretty much use bootcamp, there's really no reason to be playing games through virutalization software and it would be significantly slower than bootcamp.
 
I've been experimenting with that.The problem that the DirectX 9 support, while there, is very buggy- problems like textures having holes or strips missing.

Performance is mediocre even with older games. Expect half the 3D performance you'd get with identical hardware using Bootcamp.

Parallels seems good for most things. Not gaming, sadly...
 
i've tried that, i play modern warfare 2 with windows parallel desktop an the result is....lagging because your mac think twice to run that game

better play your heavy games on windows directly
