Today, for the first time in my life (since I have my iMac 27" (Late 2015) since the end of 2017, i tried to install Bootcamp with W10. My Mac has over 300 GB left on the SSD, and yet, I cant install Bootcamp because according to that there is not enough space left and I would need at least 39 GB.

How the hell is that ? I already checked on Google, read some about Time Machine backups being responsible for that. A few months ago, I switched from Time machine backups on an external USB Harddisk to backups to my Synology NAS. Just in case that is important.

But why, if according to the Mac, there is over 300 GB left on the SSD, is there NOT enough space ? Really starting to hate things atm.

I appreciate any help in that matter. And yes, the SSD is formated with APFS.
