Hey all,

I bought my macbook pro the week before the new iLife 08 came out and they don't have a "free upgrade if you bought your machine within a month of a new release" thing with ilife that they have with leopard.

I bought my mother a new macbook after the ilife release (but one day too early to qualify for free leopard, darn it).

My question: can I use her macbook disk to install the new iLife after I do a fresh Leopard install?

Or will it say "not for this computer" the way it would if I tried to install the OS from that disk?

Does no one have an answer or is this a taboo question?

Does no one have an answer or is this a taboo question? I am really curious about whether this will work (if it does I'll wait until I can get the disk from her, if I can't I might just order it).
