I am just wondering if anyone knows whether the airport extreme has the internal connections to accept a hard drive to make it the same as a time capsule? I know you can run an external USB drive/s but I am wondering if the circuit board inside is the same as a Time Capsule one? For example the MacMini has the port on the logic board that allows you to add a drive. Does the AAE have the same?
I am guessing the answer is 'no' but worth a thought.
