Install iOS 7 (update?) from 6.1.4?

Hey guys,

I'm registered on a friend's dev account but my brother-in-law is here today and he'd like me to install beta 6 on his iPhone. I've been using iOS7 since beta 1, so I forgot: is it possible to update in iTunes without doing a clean install? And Apple isn't actually checking UDIDs at this point, are they?

Download the iOS 7 beta for his iPhone, save to desktop. Then backup his phone. Once done hold shift and left click "update" on iTunes, and select the beta ispw you downloaded. The phone should then update.

For best results I'd recommend a full DFU restore to iOS7B6 not update
