I've been having a rough time trying to do an install on my 2010 Macbook Pro. I updated through the app store and half way through, the install failed and said I had a corrupt filesystem and that I should save my files and delete the drive. Well, that took a while but after working at it for a day, I was able to make a disc image of my drive onto my external drive (apparently Time Machine didn't think I backed up this year). I then attempted to make a bootable flash drive on my MP to use for my MBP. After spending a couple days trying to get the download to work, it finally downloaded and I used the script to make it bootable. When I select the flash drive as the boot up disk on my MBP, I just get the "crossed out circle" symbol. Any ideas how to fix this or what's going on?
