I didn’t have a clue which forum to ask this question but hoping someone could help. I’m getting up in age a bit and forgot how to do some things.

My PC is backed up with Carbonite so I have a backup of my Music Folder & iTunes Folder. My old PC died and I now have a new one running Windows 11.

Do I install iTunes before or after restoring my Music & iTunes Folder? Thanks!

Why not restore the backup, installing itunes and see what happens. If it doesn't produce the results you want, then after its installed just re-do the restore, that way you basically can try both ways.

Well i was hoping to do it the correct way the first time since it takes Carbonite such a long time to restore files especially when theres quite a few.
